Time ago was the house inside a wide farm, until recently, when it was carefully renovated transforming it into a charming holiday home, divided into five comfortable apartments.

In front of the house there is a large garden, equipped with garden furniture and a beautiful swimming pool ( 6 x 12 m ), built amongst the lush foliage of the olive trees. The apartments have been carefully and comfortably furnished using well-made furniture. The 4 + 2 apartments have a private entrance with internal staircase also used for other apartments, sitting/dining room with kitchenette, typical frescoed fireplace and double sofa bed, double room, twin room, bathroom with shower. The holiday home “Scannagallo” is located in Pozzo della Chiana. Very close to the Castle of Marciano, which was the headquarters of the victorious Florentine army in an epic battle in 1500, between the Sienese and the Florentines, known as the Battle of Marciano or the Battle of Scannagallo (because of it our name) and evoked in a painting by Vasari, now in Florence in one of the rooms of the Palazzo Vecchio.
